EUTechSovereignty2025: RISE and EURICE Join High-Level Conference on Collaborative Intellectual Asset Management
On 26–27 May, key players from the Polish research and innovation (R&I) landscape, in collaboration with the European Commission, will host the high-level conference “EUTechSovereignty2025” on dedicated to advancing European technological sovereignty and strengthening knowledge valorisation in dynamic innovation ecosystems.
Held under the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the event is among the most significant international gatherings on technology development in 2025. It will explore how Horizon Europe contributes to real-world impact and help shape strategies for the upcoming 10th Framework Programme (FP10), with a strong focus on fostering innovation capacity in Europe.
The two-day programme will bring together researchers, industry experts, and policy leaders to exchange best practices in knowledge transfer, commercialisation, and ecosystem building. Participants can expect inspiring keynotes, in-depth panel discussions, and networking sessions that explore how to better connect research and industry across Europe.
Recognising that collaborative intellectual property (IP) management is essential for building resilient, high-impact R&I ecosystems, the conference will feature a panel discussion on this topic with Jörg Scherer, Managing Director of EURICE and Coordinator of the European IP Helpdesk, where RISE is a committed partner. Engaged in two additional IP and knowledge valorisation initiatives – the Impact Licensing Initiative and IAM4RE – RISE supports the strengthening of innovation capacities across widening countries, in particular. This event represents an excellent opportunity to contribute to stakeholder dialogue and cross-sector collaboration in Poland and beyond.
