RISE processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Croatian data-protection legislation.
What data we process
We may process personal data when you:
- contact us regarding collaboration or other enquiries;
- submit a CV or employment application;
- register for a RISE event;
- use our website or interact with the RISE LinkedIn page;
- appear in RISE news, project or event communication.
Depending on the activity, this may include your name, organisation, contact details, professional information, CV, event-registration information, photographs, videos, quotations and basic technical website data.
Why we process your data
We process personal data only where there is an appropriate legal basis under GDPR, including:
- consent – Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, where consent is required;
- contractual or pre-contractual steps – Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
- legitimate interests – Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, for example responding to professional enquiries, operating and securing our website, basic website analytics and communicating about RISE activities.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
Events, website and social media
RISE may use Microsoft Forms/Microsoft 365 for event registrations.
We may publish news about our projects, activities and events, including names, professional roles, photographs or quotations. Where consent is required for identifiable photographs, videos or similar content, it is collected separately.
RISE also operates a LinkedIn page and uses basic website analytics. Third-party services process data according to their own privacy terms.
Who may receive your data
Where necessary, personal data may be accessible to authorised RISE staff, relevant project or event partners, and approved IT and hosting service providers.
RISE is part of the EURICE Group and uses shared EURICE Group IT infrastructure and support services. Where another Group entity or service provider processes personal data on behalf of RISE, appropriate arrangements pursuant to Article 28 GDPR apply.
Where data are transferred outside the European Economic Area, an appropriate GDPR transfer mechanism is used.
How long we keep your data
Personal data are kept only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, or where longer retention is required by applicable legal, contractual or project obligations.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, restrict or object to processing, request data portability where applicable, and withdraw consent.
