AIGENT
AI-Generated Digital Twin Infrastructure for Healthcare & Living Environment
Description
AIGENT is building a pan-European infrastructure that lets people create digital twins without writing code. A user describes a problem in plain language, and generative AI agents assemble the simulation, selecting the right models, data sources and compute. Three layers make this work: Edge Twin Nodes process sensitive data locally, the AIGENT Nexus orchestrates workflows and holds shared knowledge and provenance, and the AIGENT Compute Platform draws on EuroHPC and the European AI Factories for heavy training and simulation. Six pilots in Belgium, Finland and Greece test the approach in healthcare (cardiorespiratory health, adverse drug reactions, adaptive healthy living) and in the living environment (building energy optimisation, district fleet analytics, indoor environmental quality), each reaching TRL 6. Explainability, uncertainty quantification and compliance with the AI Act, GDPR and the EHDS are built in from the start.
