Together for more well-being: RISE and EURICE's Diabetes Projects Collaborate on World Diabetes Day

Every November 14, World Diabetes Day shines a spotlight on diabetes mellitus through a global campaign led by the International Diabetes Federation. With each year’s campaign focusing on a specific theme, 2024 centres on well-being.

In alignment with this theme, the portfolio of diabetes projects at RISE and its sister company, EURICE, have launched a collaborative campaign to raise awareness and emphasize the common goal of all projects: improving the daily lives and experiences of people living with diabetes. "Diabetes research is an important part of Eurice’s/RISE’s project portfolio, and it’s inspiring to now see a whole set of our projects coming together to raise awareness and advance this vital field together (with our sister company EURICE),” says Martina Radanović, Senior Project Manager at RISE and responsible for the REDDIE project.

Each of the three active diabetes projects focuses on unique methods, contributing different approaches to diabetes research. The World Diabetes Day campaign offers an in-depth look at the work and aims of each project.

Learn more about the projects:

  • REDDIE

REDDIE focuses on using data registries as Real-World Data and using them as Real-World Evidence. This will help make Randomised controlled trials much cheaper and faster and bring drugs, devices, diagnostics and digital health faster to the end user – people living with diabetes.

  • MELISSA

MELISSA brings innovation to diabetes treatment by developing the world's first fully automated holistic AI-driven treatment personalisation and optimisation platform. This will bring tailored treatment and care based on individual needs, habits and evolution and fill the gap between Artificial Intelligence and its validated application in daily diabetes management.

  • Music4Diabetes

Music4Diabetes aims to improve the lives of people living with diabetes with an innovative device that integrates advanced signal-sensing technology, precise insulin pumps and algorithmic forecasting. Check out their new video here:
